Peace

The wikipedia describes peace as such:
Peace is a state of harmony characterized by the lack of violent conflict and the freedom of fear from violence. Commonly understood as the abscence of hostility.

In my personal perception this definition although, staggeringly accurate is only semi-complete. There are so many different layers of life this definition misses by being so inaccurately precise. However, the gut -wrenching truth of the matter is that we as a society have allowed for ourselves to become violent as a people. Of course, not just in the physical sense; but violent interpersonally. We have allowed for our hearts to darken and grow cold. I recently published a blog post to the theme of morality. In which I describe how i believe we as a people are turning a blind eye to whats causing it. Of course, upon writing it I was so firm in my stand.Then a blog follower posted a comment, a comment speaking about the decline in morality being for an even deeper reason. A more biblical reason. The fact that we as a nation have allowed ourselves to get so far away from GOD.  We have seperated GOD from so much, he has become a pop up facebook ad.Yet, we are in turmoil looking for a cure for our economy working towards a cure for our school systems our laws and polocies. Yet, we`re looking for all these answers from everyone and everything besides him who made it all possible. Might that just be where we need to turn as a people.
