Love
www.urbandictionary.com describes love as such:
The most spectacular, indescribable, deep euphoric feeling forr someone.
Love is an incredibly powerful word. When you`re in love you always want to be together, and when you`re not, you`re thiinking about being together because you need that person and without them your life is incomplete.
Although this definition is moderately accurate and substantially complete, what if its not completely thought out? What if it`s not all inclusive? Yes, society teaches us pretty much that this is right, that this is how love goes and should be both given and recieved. However, this definition is taken from a liberal point of view, written geared for the acceptance of whomever reads it.I, of course have to challenge this. What about the biblical sense of love, what about the love described in our bibles. The old testament had ten commandments given from GOD to Moses to govern the people. Most of which have been in practice for so long, they have become part of our ooral concious. However, the new testament the testament more compareable to life as we know it todayonly has one. That one, is to love one another as christ loves the church. Taken that we (society) make up the church I take it to mean that GOD wants for us to love one another as he loves us. If you don`t know exactly how he loves us or the extent to which his love goes, open your nearest bible to Romans chapter 8 it lets us know comppletely. After given that a once over, with a sincere interest to destinguish the difference from wha`s written and what popularly believed. Look over the definition provided by www.urbandictionary.com once again, then ask yourself: Have you taken the oppertunity to truly love the person/people you`ve told you love lately.

well said, and may I also add that love is a choice not just and emotion. It is a willful act and choice to walk in love and trat people in love regardless of how your emotions may feel about them!
